Everytime I go to Zurich to shoot with James of ModelsTied, I get totally cracked out on espresso. See, he has one of those fancy-schmancy Nespresso auto machines (where the espresso comes ready in these little single-serving bullets). I find it mildly amusing that he gets the models all hyped up on coffee before he ties them up. Because bondage is so easy when you're vibrating...

Well shit, this weekend me and the boy bought our own Nespresso machine finally and a whole lot of those little espresso bullets ("bullet" is a very apropos word to describe them, BTW). I can't stop drinking espresso. I expect to never sleep again. Any Red Dwarf fans out there? You know the episode where Cat discovers how to use the food replicator and yells "Fish! Fish! Fish! Fish!" at it over and over and eats until he's about to explode. Well, imagine me in the same situation except I keep pushing a little green button and delicious liquid crack pours into a teeny little cup. Send help please!

This trip has been CRAZY. Busy, but fucking CRAZY. Mostly good, but I almost had to cause someone severe bodily harm--but luckily their desire to live to see another day led them to rethink their actions. Still, I'll chalk this one on my shitlist. I've generally only had good experiences in this business and count myself lucky. I generally don't work with amateur photogs anymore--but occasionally I do if I think they have potential. After this, I really think I need to rethink that since my current inclination is FUCK THAT. Fuck it, I can't deal with unprofessional people. I have too many other creative people I know and want to collaborate with that I can't waste time and babysit people who don't have their shit together. And I left without one frame being taken of me. Thankfuckinggod. Everything started out normal and then it was like, HUH???? WHAT???? I haven't been that violently pissed off in YEARS--because it takes quite a bit to get me to see THAT red. Wanna piss me off that badly? Try stroking my hair inappropriately and then telling me "you don't have my modeling fee with you". That'll do it right quick. See how fast that turns me into a psycho.

Wanna know something else that makes me angry? Trying to convince me that I should do what I do "solely for the art/love/enter some crapola ideology here". You know that's fine and dandy and the colour of roses and all, but this is also my business. It especially makes me angry when the person telling me I should model for the "art" and not worry about "money" is MAKING $$ from selling mine and other's images. How the fuck does that compute? Am I living on another planet? The notion that making money off of one's "art" (and I use this term loosely) lessens it somehow really chaps my ass. Fuck, for most people I know it's their DREAM to make money doing what they love. Plus, I still do collaborate with people simply to be creative without money coming into the picture--but that ONLY works when it's a shared vision between both myself and them, and with someone I know and respect (and vice/versa). Why would I lend my time to a project that I personally didn't have an interest or input in and why the fuck would I do it for free?

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE--The past few days have been soooooo good though--really inspired by the work I've been doing and the people I've been collaborating with. Holy shit the work I've done the past 2-3 days reminded me exactly WHY I got into this business to begin with.

I went to see my plastic surgeon on Monday for my year FDA study checkup because I have silicone cohesive gel implants which were only available to people who fell into a certain criteria--and you had to participate in the FDA study. Everything with the tits are A-ok, and, as my doc told me it was gonna happen in the next few days--silicone breast implants are now approved, legal and deemed safe to anyone who wants them now.

I heart my silicone--so soft and squishy they pass the real squeeze test!

Might go out tonight, I dunno...another early day tommorrow. Right now I am a frustrated horny motherfucker and there ain't a goddamn thing I can do to resolve that at the moment...that's what rolling around naked all day for a week will do to ya. I'm always super ultra-sexed when I'm out here.

Well, I'm off to the airport to go to LA at 5AM. On zero sleep. HORRAY! Why the fuck I booked at 6:30AM flight I'll never know.
