Marquis' Heavy Rubber

I finally got my issue of Marquis' Heavy Rubber while I was in LA last month. I gotta say, I think it's my favorite mag right now--just pages upon pages of glossy latex photography.

It's the first time I didn't just flip past one of my features really fast (I have a weird thing about seeing myself on video or in magazines, I usually don't look-or if I do I just flip quickly or fast forward).

It's got 8 pages of me in my Vex custom asylum outfit. It's also got the hottest pictorial of Bianca Beauchamp I think I've ever seen.

Sunday, August 7th

We were all up LATE from the night before, so needless to say we got a very late and hungover start! Poor Aprella got up early to shoot with Genesha in his house we were all staying at. I had the day off, so we just chilled out. After Aprella's shoot, we (also along were Nicholas and Isobel) headed to a really great Indian restaurant and had some fine grub before we had to drop Aprella off at the airport.

The rest of the evening was spent with me and Nicholas just hanging out with our 2 favorite people Isobel and Genesha--a nice low key night after the mayhem of the weekend.

Monday, August 8th

Once again, me, Nicholas and Robert headed to the airport at the buttcrack of dawn. I felt bad for Isobel who had to drive me and Nicholas since we had only gone to bed 2 hours earlier!! Anyway, the flight was HELL!!! We took an AM flight so the boys could make it to their jobs in time to have almost a full day of work--we were supposed to land at LaGuardia around 10AM but wound up landing at 1-2PM!!!! Why? I guess because there was no visibility at the airport so bascially we had to just circle the airport for HOURS. Then, we ran out of fuel and had to fly back to Washington, DC to refuel and fly back to NYC!!! What a nightmare!!! Luckily, I was asleep for most of it though!

Saturday, August 6th

After sleeping in a little bit, all of us--Isobel, Genesha, Nicholas & Aprella headed to rehearsals for the shows we were in (I was walking for Vex and Vesperi). We got to the venue so late because the van we were driving there in was too tall to park in any of the garages!

We finally got in, did our fittings, rehearsed and after not eating all day we were all finally able to get some dinner at a nearby bar/restaurant where the waitstaff was SO incompetent -- it was almost too sad to be angry about! (for example when asked what the vegetable of the day was, she responded "I dunno, it changes every day" and upon asking for bread with a salad, said "we don't have bread, is a baguette ok?") WOW. LOL.

Anyway, it took us about 1.5 hours to be served and all of us got pretty cranky but when the food came there was a sigh of relief. I needed to go get my hair and makeup done for the Vesperi show, so I left dinner a bit early and headed over to the venue. There were a lot of great people in town for the event--too many to list! Anyway, the hair and makeup people did an excellent job and it was fun to hang out with old friends and meet new peeps!

Nicholas entered the best dressed contest in his custom Vex sailor suit and won second prize which meant we carried home a sex ramp from Liberator! There's a really funny pic in the latest Skin Two of everybody piling on top of me and the liberator backstage after the contest!

All in all it was a really fun event and it was my first time that far South in probably 15 years! After the party we all headed over to Kip and Rubberotica's house for some good, clean fun--HA!

Recovery

My surgery on Friday went really well and I think I'll be really happy with the result (I'm swollen and bandaged right now but from what I can tell, they're the size I wanted!). I've got some beautiful big tits and I love them and cannot wait to play with them!!!!!!!!

Feeling much better today, although dirty and I want to bathe. Got pretty much all my site back and on the new server, but the old host is being a cocksucker and is basically holding my database hostage until they extort us for more $$ which is probably totally illegal but they've got us in a shitbind because my site is totally database driven and it contains ALL my writing (travelogues, diary, news, gallery info, memories) from the past year plus all the information that I need to run my site at all. Hopefully it can be cleared by Tuesday *crosses fingers*. Sucks since I was getting a lot of traffic and members since my issue of Leg Show (October 2005) just came out.

Oh well. The good news is that once this is all said and done the new host is a fucking DREAM. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience--I just edited about 20 new awesome sets before my surgery I'm dying to share with my members too :( I really hope no one is unsubbing and if you are a current member please email me and I'll try to do something to make up for the lost week :( Please be patient as I'm trying my best to deal with the issues in between pain killers and naps--loL!!

So, this recovering bitch is a little stressed out. Thank god I'm sedated. Things could be worse though--I could be homeless and my family could be dead or missing. All this drama is so insignificant compared to the real horror a lot of people are facing right now.

I'm recovering at Christine Kessler's in Los Angeles until the 16th and she's been wonderful.

Looks like London next month is on, just have to finalize all that too. I'll prolly be out about a week (10/6-13).

It's really boring laying around not being able to do anything--I need a laptop badly for all my travels (and recovery)!!! At least I have great company! I can't even go to the gym or raise my heart rate for a month. So I feel like I'm turning into a blob. My addiction to Wheat Thins isn't going to help the matter either...

I still can't believe how much the government is draggin it's ass with the hurricane destruction of the South. It makes me sick. My heart goes out to the South.

Friday, August 5th

I headed to the airport at the buttcrack of dawn with Nicholas and my friend Robert. The flight was pretty uneventful and my lovely friend Isobel Marion was waiting there to pick us up, so that was a sight for sore eyes so early in the AM! Once we got our luggage and got caffeinated, we headed out into the deep South!

Man, I hadn't been to Atlanta in at least 15 years I think!!! Crazy!!! Anyway, we picked up Isobel's friend Alanah Reed and headed back to her house to meet up with Isobel's husband Genesha.

Genesha and Nicholas have this little pseudo-queer game going (don't ask), so I was thinking to myself as we pulled up to their lovely house that Genesha might open the door and present Nicholas with flowers. HA!!! I was right!! I swear to god I'm psychic sometimes!!! LOL!! I almost pissed myself! We dragged our luggage inside and to my surprise Pia was there as well! After a bit of catching up, we decided it was time to head out to get some food and since noon had struck, it might be a good idea to start drinking too...

So, off to a local bar and restaurant it was!! And boy did we eat and drink. Started with beer and ended with añejo tequila....we lost track of time and realized we had to pick up poor Aprella at the airport!! HA!!! Luckily we were only a bit late! As we arrived and we opened the van door, two of us and a bunch of golf balls flew out of the van (I have no idea!!)!! Welcome to Atlanta, Aprella!! HA!

After stopping off for more provisions, we headed back to Isobel and Genesha's and continued our own party there--they are two of my favorite people in the whole world and need to move to NYC!!!! Sometime during the madness, Genesha managed to shoot me & Isobel and also did some shots of me for his new book--all the while Nicholas took behind-the-scenes shots.

We were all going to head over to the Secret Room Skin Two Party Friday night event, but we were having SO much fun just hanging out at the house (and I wasn't in any of the shows that night so I had no responsibilities and could skip it anyway) that we decided to just stay in and continue drinking. We couldn't deal with getting all gussied up to go out. Isobel had a show she needed to be in around 2 AM, so unfortunately she had to run over there for a bit :( When she left, me, Aprella, Genesha & Nicholas were wrestling on an air mattress. Good times, man....good times.

This is mainly to address a comment someone made on my MySpace profile, but hell--hey if anybody has a problem with what I do personally with my body because I want to, then it's no big loss. It's funny, in some ways the punk, fetish and alt communities seem to have more stipulations regarding lifestyle choices than most mainstream culture. Ironic, huh?

While I appreciate the sentiment that I'm perfect the way I am, I am a bit befuddled why something like me getting breast implants would cause you to no longer want to be on my myspace friends list--it's your prerogative but I just don't see the relevance here, or your reason to voice it. I like the cute ultimatum tone though--it has a "if you don't pick up your room you get no dessert!" kinda feel to it. How is it even your business what I do with my body and what do you expect to accomplish by voicing your opinion in MY personal online space? Do we even know each other beyond that comment you just made on my profile? Opinions are like assholes, but I always find it odd that in the alt community--a community that purports to embrace body modification is so against plastic surgery. It's just another form of closed-mindedness from a community that claims to be open to alternative lifestyles and people's right to chose how they live it.

It amazes me how much controversy a C cup can cause. I'm flattered though!

I can shave my head, dye my hair blue, stick pins in my face, suspend myself via meathooks, split my tongue, tattoo myself, get transdermal implants and these are "accepted" forms of alt. body mod--some may even consider doing any of those things to oneself artistic--that the body is a "work in progress" and by transforming it beyond nature you are making it your own--tailoring it to your own aesthetic needs. Why then is shoving two bits of silicone under my skin any different to that same community? I personally could care less about the artistic standpoint, I just want big tits (lol). Is it "shallow"? Sure, but going to the gym daily or getting a tattoo or piercing for aesthetic reasons is just as shallow IMHO as well. It's kind of like when people in the fetish community are made fun of and chided by others IN THAT SAME COMMUNITY for actually having fetishes!!!!! It's completely hypocritical and absurd!

So yeah, that's that. Now I must admit that I do put myself on public display so I'm well aware that I'll be getting opinions from every asshole that feels the urge. That's fine with me--I set myself up for it. I just figured I'd voice my stance now and leave it at that. I just think it's funny when people that don't know you beyond seeing your picture and occasionally reading your blog think their opinions are actually going to affect life-changing decisions you make or that their disapproval, etc. is actually going to make a difference in how someone choses to live their life.

Friday, July 29th

I finally got to sleep in a bit and around 2:00 Amber from Gwen Media came over to pick me up. We got caught up on the way to the studio and it was weird knowing that Bob wouldn't be there when we arrived. The place did seem noticibly different with him not around :(

Since it's summertime and Gwen Media is located in the Valley, it was super hot in the studio so we took it easy until the sun went down so we wouldn't die in our latex. Anastasia Pierce stopped by and we shot a couple of great sets together. We hadn't seen each other since we shot The Asylum so it was nice to shoot with her again!

Since we got a late start, we shot into the evening. I was gonna go out to Miss Kitty's with Steen and a couple of friends to see Emily Marilyn perform, but I was just too lazy to get dressed up again. Instead, all of us at Gwen Media headed over to a Tiki Bar, and I called my buddy Octavio to come join us--since I KNOW he's always up for tiki drinks!!! Anyway, it was a nice low-key fun evening. Octavio and I headed back to Steen's for a while and the 3 of us hung out for a bit before a very haggard me had to hit the hay!

Saturday, July 30th

Shot with Steen in some HW Design latex and corsets by Exquisite Restraint . Photos of that to come soon!!! I had a 5PM flight home, so that's about all I did!

Had a shoot in the AM with Perry Gallagher for Puimond Corsets. We had SO much fun!!! Perry's always a hoot to work with and Puimond is just fun to gossip and talk with--I love him and his corsets are excellent--everyone should go buy one from him NOW!!! I don't have pics yet from that shoot, but I do have a shot taken by Michael Helms, another talented photographer who was letting us use his ranch to shoot at. Here you go:

Later that evening I was featuring at the Den of Iniquity . It was a slow night, but totally appreciated since I was EXHAUSTED!!!

Thursday, July 28th

I got up at the buttcrack of dawn--ick!!! But it was all for a good reason, Nelly Recchia, the uber-talented French bodypainter I had been wanting to work with for YEARS was coming to pick me up!!!! Nelly was fantastic and a sweetheart too!!! We bonded immediately so I knew that despite me NOT being a morning person that the day was off to an excellent start. Nelly told me in our emails that she wanted to do something that was ballet in theme--and the funny thing is she had no idea of my ballet training!! Sooo, I knew it was kismet. We drove over to photographer Jud McKelvey's studio and got to work (well, Nelly did--I just stood there!!!). It took a while, but considering what she painted on me--she was lightning-fast! We shot everything super quick and got the shots we wanted. So we were all ecstatic!!!

After we finished and I showered, off Nelly dropped me back off at the Den, where I had a really busy night--phew!!! Then the oddest thing happened--my parents called me and told me they were in LA and were only staying a couple of blocks away (to those that don't know I get along really well with my parents). So, I was stoked--I met up with them after I was done to do some drinking. How surreal!!!
