I just got back to NYC and I'm completely exhausted. Last week was a whirlwind and I'm wrecked at the moment. I'll be catching up on last week's member's updates tomorrow!
Hopefully I can chill and de-stress this weekend but I have so much business-end stuff to deal with I wanna scream. In addition I'm about 2 weeks behind on email and have to finish all my Buckle Ball prep ASAP. Where the fuck did summer go? More on my LA trip later. It's dinner, lovin' then bed for me.
Here's some new stuff I did last week--shot on location about 3 hours outside of LA--a fun overnight adventure! These were shot my 2nd day on the West Coast 8/23/06.

I was supposed to fly out to LA at 8:30AM today but I realized I'd have to leave for JFK at 6AM and promptly copped the attitude of "FUCK THAT", and changed it to an 11:30 flight so I could catch at least some sleep! I was originally planning on maybe shooting today but nixed it since I hate shooting the same day I fly...I love you JetBlue $25 same day change fee.
I arrived here in LA safely, without all of the in-air drama of my previous flight, but during the flight I got severely dehydrated from the "no outside bottled water on the plane" retarded new security rule. Which makes flying MISERABLE for me as I drink about 2 big huge bottles on every long flight!!!!
Once here, I ran some errands and then I napped for a bit, had a fitting with Exquisite Restraint for a new corset, then headed out to the water to have a big birthday din din for Steenie with a bunch of peeps!
Came back to Steen's to sleep and checked my email and found a surprise which is located under the Buckle Ball banner on my "updates" page--so check it out!!! WHOOOO HOOO!!!!
Well, it's 4AM--time to sleep for my big 2-day photoshoot adventure!

AH, apparently I left my cell phone in a cab around 6:30 tonight and was so busy I didn't even realize I had lost it until my boy called me at the dungeon to let me know that the cab driver had it. WHEW!!! I'm soooo lucky!!! The driver brought it to me later that night!
Doing shit like this is so unlike me. I think I need to slow down and relax and stop being so fucking manic all the time.
Best 50 bux I ever spent!!!!!! Most cab drivers would just say fuck it. I TOTALLY lucked out! My life is in that phone!!

So yesterday I shot with Playboy TV for an episode of a 13-part series about NYC photographer Andrew Einhorn and the making of his new book.
I had a TON of fun and Andrew and the crew were GREAT to work with. We started out on a street in the Lower East Side, then we shot the majority of it in my apartment (I had to lock my attack cat in the office though!). You'll see me naked, in latex, and being interviewed in it when it comes out. When it got to be evening, they took me down to Times Square where they shot me in a VERY REVEALING latex outfit. It was CRAZY!!! What a rush--we had a huge crowd all around us--it was INSANITY!!!!!!!
As soon as I find out when it's being released I'll let all of you know!

Friday, July 21st
Emily Marilyn came to pick me up in the afternoon and we headed out to the valley to JB Video. It was so hot!!! Me and Em played in tons of vintage stockings, sky-high heels and Agent Provocateur lingerie! I'll let you guys know when the vid comes out!
The shoot went pretty late and I had an early morning so I chilled that evening.
Saturday, July 22nd
I went over to JB video in the morning to shoot a solo video (in pointe shoes!) and in the afternoon literally went down the street to shoot with Sean McCall for Marquis. I always have so much fun with him and his new makeup artist is the BOMB!!!!
I was SO tired after the shoot (plus it was 115 degrees in the valley all day) but I was hosting Purgatory at Bar Sinister that night, so I put on a tight black dress and headed over to Hollywood with the gang...and had a blast!!!!
Sunday, July 23rd
Got up a little hungover and headed to the Den in LA to do a couple of sessions I was able to squeeze in, which was nice. The Den REALLY pissed me off though, so I think I'll never be renting there ever again--I'll have to check out some new spaces when I'm in LA next week. It's always a joy to learn that being loyal and fair to someone doesn't always mean they won't try to get one over on you, but I can't say I'm not surprised. My response? Wipe out the negativity! Oh well, moving on...In the afternoon, I headed back to Sean's to do more shooting--until 2AM!!!! WHEW!!!! But, the results are AMAZING and I'll be able to reveal why soon!

Wedsnesday, July 19th
I shot some solo stuff in the early afternoon with Mitzi. In the late afternoon we headed to the legendary Barris' Kustom in N. Hollywood. Now for those who might not know, George Barris is LEGENDARY in the custom car/hot rod world. He created the original and the Burton Batmobiles, the Back to the Future Delorian, the Munsters car, Kitt from Night Rider--basically any famous car you might recognize, chances are he created it! He was such a nice guy who gave us the run of his garage!!! Emily Marilyn also came along and we both spent hours getting bodypainted to pose with the cars! It was a long day but a ton of fun--it was a walk through Hollywood history! I posed in the Munsters car and George invited me back to pose with the Batmobile! HOW KICK ASS IS THAT!?!? The walls of the garage were lined with the names and pictures of all the cars he created for celebrities--pics of him and his cars with Marilyn Monroe and so many others--if those walls could talk!!!
We finished up around midnight--I headed back to my friend's house where a party was raging--so I hopped in the shower to wash the paint off and joined the party!

I was shooting in the late afternoon with the awesome Shannon Brooke! Check this out! More to come! I'm so glad me and Shannon got to shoot for ourselves last time I was in LA. We had only worked on West Coast Choppers stuff before!

Ahhh, I finally forced myself to take a weekend off!!! Things have been so non-stop the past few months I haven't had a weekend off in forever!!!! I headed out to Jones Beach for some relaxation and it was a wonderful, beautiful time. Then, me and Nicholas headed out to Iron Chef Mario Batalli's restaurant Babbo in Greenwich Village--you have to make reservations one month in advance but it's so worth it!!! Now, it's back to the grind!

Dangit, Emily just had to remind me of the annual Agent Provocateur sale (Hint Hint my email is darenzia AT darenzia.net)! I have so much of their stuff and I love it. Since the new boobs I'm addicted to lingerie! LOL!
Yesterday I had a big shoot for the Village Voice's upcoming "Best of NY" issue. There was tons of styling--it was a crazy big ass production. I was the only non-fashion agency model, so that means I was by far the shortest one there.......I'll be representing the "Sex in NYC" section (big surprise there, lol!) I'll let you guys know when it's out!
Today was spent with my buddy Aprella shooting some artsy segments for the upcoming Horror Channel. They're really cool, but when they come out you'll have no idea it's us! You never see our faces! It was great catching up with Aprella though--we're both so busy we never see each other :(
I took this weekend off so I can relax finally--I've been so crazy for the past few months this is my first free weekend in a while!!! Don't worry, the rest of my LA updates will continue tomorrow!

Today was insanely busy at the Den --(sessions from 12PM-12AM!) but I actually had a great time out in the heat, when I wasn't inside. I was LOVING it.
I ventured into BuyBuyBaby all by my lonesome to try to acquire a sailor outfit for my friend Veronica's newborn baby boy (I had promised his first sailor outfit)!!
Immediately upon entering I discovered I was WAY out of my element. It was as if someone sprayed a demon with holy water. The maternal instinct I distinctly lack became quite obvious!!!!!!! I had bitten off more than I could chew, plus they looked at me like I was a pervert when I inquired about sailor outfits for baby boys. I myself was dressed like a Japanese school girl. I had entertained the notion of entering the store drunk looking pregnant in a mumu but realized that was a little too much effort for an ultimately not-funny-enough joke.
Plus, I couldn't escape!!! They hide the exits in that place. I almost had a panic attack. I actually felt myself ovulate.
I am clearly not meant for motherhood.
I will bring an escort on my next quest for baby goods.
I fucking love this city. Walking around in it everyday is a new adventure.
Fuck, I have a 9AM call time for tomorrow/today. I should not be awake.
