I just uploaded 3 new updates to Darenzia.net (which were supposed to go live last week but I got all summer-lazy)! Members' only, of course! So, I just booked my trip to Tampa, FL. I'll be in town for Fetishcon staying with my friend Ruby Luster. I'm there Aug 13-20 and I'm performing at Fetish Factory on August 16. I had so much fun last year I'm really looking forward to it! I'm also taking bookings for shoots and sessions while I'm down there so contact me if you'd like to book me!

It's been in the 90's here in NYC for the past 2 days and there looks to be no relief this week at all. It's making me VERY lazy. I don't want to answer email, shoot, sit at my computer, go to the gym-NADA. I just wanna sit on my ass with a margarita. Anyway, that said, I'm off to the gym! If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'm going to the beach, dammit!

So lately a lot of my friends have been doing stupid shit to their bodies regarding diet. Namely bullshit like "cleanses/fasts". Really? I mean, as an ex-ballerina and someone who is basically obsessed with my appearance (sometimes admittedly, to a fault) I've done some STUPID SHIT to lose weight. It all starts out fantastic -- you start losing weight by abusing your body/not eating/fasting/etc, but in the end you HAVE TO EAT and because you've royally screwed up your metabolism by starving yourself-- your body retains the calories you finally do eat and then you GAIN EVEN MORE WEIGHT THAN YOU LOST (with a cleanse, most of it is water weight anyway).

Your muscles are also cannibalized as well, which reduces your resting metabolism significantly.

I guess people think that they're gonna be the one that's the exception to the rule of basic physiology.

But no one listens to me. Then I have to listen to them bitch and moan when they gain all the weight plus more back. Plus, I get kind of annoyed when people ask my advice when they know they're going to do whatever the hell they've already decided anyway.

Example: "Hey D, you've been looking great lately--what's your advice because I want to get into shape?"
Then I give food and exercise recommendations, etc. to which I'll get a response like "Oh, I'm just gonna do a fast so I can lose 10 pounds". I mean, why involve me? LOL!

Maybe it's payback for me being a psychotic 90 pound ballerina in the 90's.

For once, I'd love to be able to go out to dinner with a group of people and not have at least one person sitting at the table sucking on a lemon and some water talking about how fucking healthy they are. Especially, when I know that they'll be back to their old habits next week, or even worse -- binging since they denied themselves EVERYTHING for an extended period of time. Deny yourself of something you want enough and eventually you freak out and go crazy.

Seriously, we're not GERBILS. Living on sugar water is retarded.

There's no real long lasting quick fix to get into shape. You have to work your butt off. If it was so easy, everyone would be in shape.

I just updated my dominatrix/session info on my site--here. I've decided to possibly consider seeing some new submissives. It's been a while since I've seen anyone new (since I have so many great subs already) but I'm going to maybe consider new applicants. I stopped advertising at all for a bit, because I was getting email that was so fucking idiotic, I decided that I didn't need the bullshit. Or, I'd get 50,000 requests to run errands for me, do chores, or clean my place (read: I want to spend time with you and have you pay attention to me but I want to do it for free, even though I'm a perfect stranger and I'm most likely not really submissive at all anyway--SO LET ME INTO YOUR HOME. HA!). My favorite though are the euphemisms that guys will come up with for activities I don't engage in--like I'm gonna be tricked into letting someone eat my asshole just because they used some fancy language to describe it, LOL. So, this will be a little experiment. I'm not going to hold my breath, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I think I'm going blind from re-coding my site. I also need to get all of my various portfolios up to date, because I've been REALLY lazy about it. There's always something else to do. My work is never finished, I feel like I'm on the job 24/7, but I guess I wouldn't have it any other way...

I went to my friend Jake's salon in SoHo yesterday and got my hair lightened up a little bit for the summer. It's a bit redder and much more vibrant. I also got about 3 inches taken off. I love it! It's so glossy and healthy! I'll try to post some new pics of it soon!

I'm behind on email, but that's hardly a surprise. I literally have over 4,000 emails in spam that I haven't peeked through, so if you emailed me and never go a response back, it might have been filtered so try again. In other news, I want new latex, a MacBookPro laptop, a new iPhone, and the entire new Alexander McQueen line. What else is new? LOL

Oh yeah, and this outfit by Thierry Mugler. Shit, I miss 90's fashion shows and models. Fucking Nadja Auermann...

I was supposed to go to the beach with friends today but instead I stayed home and slaved over my site. It's coming along I guess. I still have a lot to do!!! Anyway, check out some of the changes--in particular I cleaned up the mess that was the video section (I have the first 2 pages converted, now I just need to finish the rest)! Once I finish cleaning up the code on the members' section and get my modeling portfolio up to date (all the images there currently are soooooo old...), I can start to be happy about it!

I'm editing the first set right now (it was supposed to be done on Tuesday). I've just been crazy working/shooting/dealing with crap I didn't have time to get it done quickly!

Here's some behind the scenes shots from the shoot:

It rained a little so the ground during the "Tool Time" shoot was really muddy, hence the gumboots (I wasn't about to wear nice shoes). I wound up getting barefoot in the end, so my feet were FILTHY. I'm not sure if I'm gonna use those ones, though I probably should since I know a lot of my feet fans have requested dirty sole shots. There's kind of a fine line between mud looking like mud and mud looking like poo though...the latter NOT being an interest of mine!!!!!

I think this pic was taken right after I poured Jack all over myself and discovered that it REALLY BURNS your crotch, and not in a sexy way--in a "OMG that's really fucking unpleasant!" way... Thank fucking god for cold water on the va-jay-jay. I also have a retardedly large ribcage apparently.

Ted and Di are rad friends of ours and they're always happy to let us shoot at their place in the city or their house out in L.I. It's always an event when we shoot at their place and I really appreciate it! Good locations are hard to come by and good friends are even harder!!!

Ok, back to work. I'm in hell right now because my computer just can't handle my workload anymore and it literally takes me 4xs longer than it should to do work. Editing photos is agonizing enough, but video? Forget it. I got this iMac in December of 2003. It's driving me nuts. And the system I actually need to do all the cool shit I want to with my site (more photos, videos, live shows, etc) would cost me about 5K. Le sigh :( It makes me want to cry.

I had to cancel my trip to Philly today for personal reasons, but I'll try to make it down there soon :(
