"Catharsis" was shot at 6AM in the freezing cold on 2/26 (yesterday) in the 21st hour of straight photo-shooting. My homeslice Christine Kessler took me to a dawn location on a bridge somewhere overlooking the 5 freeway, after I'd been shooting all day/night before. Sometimes a girl's gotta break some limits and push herself in order to grow...

I hadn't collaborated with Aaron since 2004, so it was awesome to work with him again and we spent the day with me contorting in ridiculous positions while he placed things like sharp wire around my face to get the perfect shot(at our last shoot I was electrocuted by the mechanics of an ancient elevator in Brooklyn while balancing in 6" heels on rotted slats with a 6 story fall, to give you an idea of how far we'll go) -- this was just from some quick portraits we shot at the end of the day. Both of us being both control freaks and sadists, we tortured each other until we both got the shots we wanted. A fucking rad photo session!

New York Fashion Week-Prada's "Iconoclasts" Party, Reppin' for Atsuko Kudo!

Last Friday 13th February saw the Prada flagship store in New York launch Fashion Week with a "re-mixed" look created by W magazine fashion editor, Alex White. Alex chose to use some Atsuko Kudo leopard print socks and stockings to give some extra va-va-voom to some of the mannequins! One of our favourite AK models, Darenzia, was in attendance at the party - resplendent in Atsuko Kudo lace print - and as a result hitting the pages of Fashion Week Daily (mannequin photos taken via iPhone at party):

Of course, FWD used a pic of me with my eyes shut and I look maaaaaaaad short! LOL

Thank you so much to Atsuko and Simon for trusting me to represent them at such an important event for their design house!

For the event, they wanted me to pair some Atsuko Kudo latex with non-latex wardrobe pieces. I decided to wear their pink chantilly lace print shell cup mini-dress with a drapey Roberto Cavalli number over it arranged to show small hints of the latex underneath. A matching AK petite hat, knuckle gloves and a pair of YSL heels completed the look! My friend Sutan Amrull came over and did my makeup and hair :) I loves him! Here's 2 pre-party photos we took quickly:

Hey everyone! As you might recall, a few months ago there was a vote to see who would become the 2009 US Spokesmodel for the latex fashion line House of Bias. Well, thanks to your votes I was named one the the Microspoksies for 2009!

Here's some of the first images I've done for the line. All photos in this blog entry are by Steve Prue with makeup by LimeCrime Makeup! Here's me in House of Bias' Velveteen Rabbit Minidress with details in their new Identity print paired with Roadster gloves!

I also did a bunch of other shots with Steve last week, featuring Black Lickorish Latex and a quick image of me in some Atsuko Kudo!

Horray!

Apparently I was also AskMen.com's featured gallery of the day yesterday. Go give me votes so they send me more love!!!!

Oh yeah, and last week in NYC, Ellen Stagg shot me with Justine Joli. It's the first time we've ever been caught on film together. You know you're mad excited to see that!
